Graybox from Hold Brothers allows users to see real-time stock market data using 26 different analytic views to promote informed decision making. Here, we will explore several of the more basic views available to users of our Graybox software.
Cross Locked Display
The Cross Locked display allows users to view current and historical crossed/locked symbols. Within the view, users can see when the symbol started crossed/locked, current “Bid” and “Ask” price and crossed/locked value. On the history list, users can view the last crossed/locked symbols and they time they left crossed/locked status.
Highs & Lows
The Highs & Lows views show new intraday highs and lows for all stocks. The user has the option of viewing them individually or together. Each view contains the stock symbol, the number of times it hits a high/low, and the price that creates the new high/low. Highs are highlighted in green and lows in red.
Inside Market Alerts
The Inside Market Alerts view shows the user real time inside market alerts. They are the inside market price of the “Bid” or “Ask” of a stock. This view displays stock symbol, bid, ask, and price change. The “Bid” and “Ask” are green in color if there is a price increase or red in color if there is a price decrease. The symbol and price change are highlighted when a stock’s price change reaches user’s alert level.
Top Volume
The Top Volume view shows the real time data of the most heavily traded stocks. The view displays the stock symbol and the current volume of the stock.
Sales
The Sales view shows the real time stocks that are trading the most in the market right now. The view displays the stock symbol and print bar. Prints are cumulated over the last 12 seconds. The number of prints over the last 12 seconds determines the length of the bar and the speed of the prints determines the intensity of the color of the bar
